Safety News

It is our employees who are truly the back-bone of this organization.  With extremely high expectations of safety, we feel that it is our duty to recognize those who are truly a shining example of AWP.

Tim T. and David L. located out of the Greensboro, NC office, have been working on a 3 month long job for a major utility customer.  Our client has been so impressed with Tim and David’s work that they have used pictures of their work zones for training purposes.  Not only have they provided safe, text book work zones, they have provided an extremely high level of customer service.  During a routine work day, Tim was approached by an impatient delivery driver who chose to ignore the stop paddle and put him and others in danger.  After making every attempt to stop the driver, and enduring inappropriate gestures and language from the driver, he made our Greensboro Operations Manager, aware of the situation.  When the delivery driver had to leave by the same route, Tim (who maintained his composure) explained why it was imperative for him to mind the stop paddle.  It was not simply traffic he was waiting on but because of overhead lines.  The driver quickly apologized for his actions to both Tim and David.

Their actions are commendable and deserving of recognition from all levels of the organization.  Thank you Tim and David for being great examples, keep up the good work.
