The Hiring Process

Begin your journey with AWP by filling out an employment application and telling us about yourself. During your application, you will be asked a few questions that will help us get to know you.


Upon receiving your application, our AWP recruiters will review your application to see if you will be a good fit for AWP.


Shortly after the screening phase, an AWP recruiter will contact you via phone call to learn more about you, discuss the job of a traffic control specialist, and offer you a position in the company.


All newly hired employees will begin their employment by undergoing a paid training course and certification.

On-the-Job Training

After completing the in-class training, employees will begin work and will receive on-the-job training from their peers, safety trainers, and management.
