POSITION SUMMARY
The Estimating Manager at AWP will build quality relationships to secure profitable business partners to support the business unit. Responsibilities include reviewing and clarification of proposals, negotiating projects, completing proposals including bid documents, determining the project’s scope, and evaluating special conditions affecting the proposal. This role will collaborate with the Operations Department to ensure the accuracy of quotes as well as prospecting for business opportunities.

RESPONSIBILITIES
·        Analyze all available information to compile into a proposal estimate
·        Attend external pre-bid meetings to determine the scope of work
·        Determine key variables for cost and other estimates
·        Complete proposals including bid documents, determining the project’s scope, and evaluating special conditions affecting the proposal (including site conditions, access, personnel, and equipment needs)
·        Review and clarify proposals and negotiate projects
·        Prepare estimates based on time, labor requirements, equipment costs, and specifications
·        Create and submit estimate reports or bids to appropriate persons (project managers, clients, bidding competitions, etc.)
·        Obtain and track offers and quotes by subcontractors or vendors
·        Prepare preliminary schedules for all successfully awarded projects
·        Manage multiple project estimates simultaneously
·        Develop relationships with current and potential customers in a sales capacity
·        Involved in peer engagement, mentoring, and on-the-job training
·        Secure profitable business to support business unit
·        Verify the customer quote and work with the Operations Team to ensure the customer is provided what was quoted
·        Attend meetings and functions to engage with customers, individually and with associations- such as the Association of general contractors
·        Regular customers lunches to build and maintain the relationship
·        Prospect for business opportunities, much like a salesperson would
·        Gain technical knowledge required for all aspects of traffic control
·        Gain knowledge of AWP products to present and position to the customer
·        Gain knowledge of all aspects of traffic control as governed by standards of local, state, and federal agencies
·        Working knowledge of all AWP products and services
·        Other duties and/or special projects as assigned
 
QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION
·        High School Diploma or GED required
·        2 or 4-year college degree in Construction Management or Engineering preferred
·        Minimum of 1-year construction industry experience preferred
·        Organized with an intense focus on accuracy and attention to detail
·        Problem-solving skills and critical thinking skills
·        Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as meticulous attention to detail
·        Ability to develop, foster, and manage customer relationships
·        Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite Products (Excel, Word). Experience with Salesforce software preferred

POSITION SUMMARY
Area Wide Protective is seeking a talented Director, Human Resources to lead Human Resources for the West Division. The Business Unit Director of Human Resources collaborates with Business Unit leaders to develop and drive human capital solutions that align with delivering business results. The leader will take an active role in ensuring the company reaches its goals by leading Employee Relations, Talents Assessment & Performance Management, Compensation, HR Compliance, and other HR projects. Partners with the company-wide network of Human Resources professionals to drive business goals through the people strategy.

Traffic Control Supervisor (TCS)

SUMMARY

·       Setup, maintained remove channelizing devices, and other traffic control equipment according to Federal, State, and/or Local Temporary Traffic Control Guidelines and Temporary Traffic Control Plans for complex work zones to ensure safe movement of vehicular and pedestrian traffic through project locations and work zones.  
·       Coordinate and communicate work activity for onsite AWP personnel including Protectors
·       (Flaggers), TMA Drivers, and Pilot Car Operators providing breaks and overall management of work zone operations 
·       Coordinate and communicate effectively with customers always maintaining a professional approach to meeting customers’ expectations 
·       Control a Flagger Station by standing and controlling vehicular and pedestrian traffic using hand signals with a STOP/SLOW paddle 
·   Drive Company vehicles to transport equipment, trailers, and team members to and from work sites in a safe, efficient, and timely manner. May also be required to pull lightweight trailered equipment 
·      Follow all company safety procedures and practices. Notifying their supervisor of any potential safety issues or incidents 
·     Provide on-the-job training, coaching, and mentoring to Protectors (Flaggers) Obtain all AWP required training within the time frame established by the Facility Manager 
·   Complete all required project documentation including Pre-Job Safety Briefings (PJSB), Daily Ticket Control Logs, Traffic Control Inspections, Vehicle Inspections, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS: 
·       ATTSA or CCA Traffic Control Supervisor  
·       ATTSA or CCA Flagger Certification 
·       3 to 5 years relevant experience preferred 
·       Excellent verbal and nonverbal communication skills 
·       Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office products  
·       Must be able to follow safe work practices and company safety guidelines 
·       Valid Driver’s License void of suspension or revocation

QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION
