As a partner of critical safety services in support of essential infrastructure, energy, telecom, water, and wastewater utility sectors, AWP is seeking Traffic Control Supervisors in your area.
 
POSITION SUMMARY
As a TCS you will work in collaboration with the Facility Manager, Project Managers, and local AWP Team to support AWP’s core values and mission to protecting our customers’ people, business, and time. AWP TCS’s review and execute temporary traffic control plans and/or standards to ensure work zones are properly installed and maintained along with coordinating and communicating with customers to ensure the safety of all workers.
 
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
·      Set up, maintain, and remove channelizing devices, and other traffic control equipment according to Federal, State, and/or Local Temporary Traffic Control Guidelines and Temporary Traffic Control Plans for complex work zones to ensure safe movement of vehicular and pedestrian traffic through project locations and work zones.
·      Coordinate and communicate work activity for onsite AWP personnel including Protectors (Flaggers), TMA Drivers, and Pilot Car Operators providing breaks and overall management of work zone operations
·      Coordinate and communicate effectively with customers always maintaining a professional approach to meeting customers’ expectations
·      Control a Flagger Station by standing and controlling vehicular and pedestrian traffic using hand signals with a STOP/SLOW paddle
·      Drive Company vehicles to transport equipment, trailers, and team members to and from work sites in a safe, efficient, and timely manner. May also be required to pull lightweight trailered equipment
·      Follow all company safety procedures and practices. Notifying their supervisor of any potential safety issues or incidents
·      Provide on-the-job training, coaching, and mentoring to Protectors (Flaggers)
·      Obtain all AWP required training within the time frame established by the Facility Manager
·      Complete all required project documentation including Pre-Job Safety Briefings (PJSB), Daily Ticket Control Logs, Traffic Control Inspections, Vehicle Inspections, etc.
·      Other duties as assigned
 
QUALIFICATIONS:
·      ATSSA or CCA Traffic Control Supervisor
·      ATSSA or CCA Flagger Certification
·      3 to 5 years relevant experience preferred
·      Excellent verbal and nonverbal communication skills
·      Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office products
·      Must be able to follow safe workplace practices and company safety guidelines
·      Valid Driver’s License void of suspension or revocation
·      Must be capable of standing 8-12 hours and lifting 80lbs repetitively using proper lifting techniques
·      Competent working around a high volume, fast-moving traffic
·      Available to work Monday-Sunday as well as nights and on-call depending on assigned project requirements and business/staffing needs
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The employee must be able to successfully handle the physical demands of this position, which include the following:
·      Frequent exposure to a variety of extreme conditions at job sites including high noise level, fumes, and airborne particles in the work environment
·      The position may work in outside conditions that include inclement weather, not limited to heat, cold, humidity, and exposure to dust and asphalt
·      Stand for long periods of time and perform strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions; employee required to lift, push, pull and carry objects
·      Position requires good manual dexterity (hand, hand with arm, two hands) and multi-limb coordination

POSITION SUMMARY

RESPONSIBILITIES
·       Provide guidance and oversight to the fleet and equipment operations within the assigned area.
·       Oversee Core Fleet Programs, such as Repair & Maintenance, DOT Compliance, Availability Status, Replacement Planning, and Auditing of Fleet and Equipment.
·       Engaging in strategic planning and decision-making related to maintenance, repair, and replacement of fleet and equipment.
·       Evaluate and negotiate fleet service and supply agreements with vendors and suppliers.
·       Assist in the recruitment of department-related employees, as needed, and provide for their continuous professional training and development.
·       Prepare and communicate reports with senior leadership.
·       Guide and advise local management teams on best operational practices
·       Assist the corporate fleet team in managing the fuel card and GPS program.
·       Maintain asset branding procedures.
·       Research, develop and implement new procedures and processes.
·       Maintain relationships with outside vendors as needed.
·       Assist in safety compliance and other compliance-related activities as they pertain to the department.
·       Collaborate with the safety department to ensure all vehicles meet safety standards.
·       Conduct performance evaluations for the supporting team according to organization guidelines

QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION
·       High School Diploma or GED required
·       Minimum of five (5) years of supervisory experience or 4-year degree in a business-related field
·       Five (5) years of fleet and equipment mechanical knowledge preferred
·       Strong leadership, communication, and coaching skills
·       Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office products and Salesforce

EHS Data and Systems Manager- Corporate

Position Summary:
The EHS Systems and Data Manager will act as a subject matter expert on system analytics and EHS Standards. Maintains data integrity within the AWP-designated EHS Database System and is able to create and analyze data to support requests from leadership. Prepares monthly/quarterly/year-end reporting for multiple business streams and maintains a Company Safety Data Report. Maintains the company-wide Bureau of Labor and Statistics (BLS) Surveys. Manages/supports the OSHA 300/300A log process. Will utilize industry trends and immerging regulatory changes that are applicable to benefit the company’s EHS program.
 
Support management’s effort to ensure compliance with company EHS Management System expectations and applicable federal and state agencies. Respond to incoming EHS requests/questions/concerns via phone and email. Provide end-user support and training in EHS systems including managing EHS calls and online support. Builds a solid network of cross-functional partners to create working relations where this position uses data to support EHS across the entire company.
 
 
Key Responsibilities
Communicates and collaborates on loss prevention goals and AWP initiatives to reach a best-in-class workplace safety culture.
Coordinates program and practice reviews and updates regulatory reviews, incident documentation, and corrective action tracking.
Manages and analyzes incident and hazard management data using the designated EHS Management System tracking database tools. Serves as the primary point of contact for analytical and performance measurement data to provide updates to EHS Department and AWP leadership on emerging trends and issues.
Develops field personnel by providing coaching, feedback, and continued training activities to assist in building the skills necessary to effectively utilize the EHS Management System.
In collaboration with operational and field leaders, develops training matrices for new hires, equipment certifications, monthly EHS training, tracking of training and project-specific needs, coordinates and schedules required training with EHS team and/or external training providers, and tracks and manages recurrent EHS requirements.
Ensures all EHS incidents are promptly reported and investigated. Communicates appropriately with EHS Team on preventive measures, incident investigations, RCA One Page Summaries, and crisis management.
Implements concepts and methodologies for continuous improvement of operations processes and activities.
Accurately and confidentially maintains AWP incident and claim records and other sensitive employee data.
Tracks and reports on key performance measures and other risk management activities performed with EHS department team and other stakeholders such as operations and project leaders responsible for identifying and resolving environmental, health and safety issues.
Maintains compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations, including EPA and OSHA regulations.
Administer, track, and generate EHS metrics and dashboards and provide KPI analysis.
Maintain OSHA WC Logs and accompanying systems
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Health & Safety, Business, or IT
3-5 years of work experience in the EHS field
Experience in the development and implementation of an EHS Management System Required
Proficient skills in Microsoft Office software applications and EHS management software and training management software application.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Estimator will contribute to the mission of protecting our customers’ people, business, and time by delivering excellent service and accurate information. RESPONSIBILITIES
Understand projects and all requirements
Analyze all available information to compile into a proposal estimate
Attend external pre-bid meetings to determine the scope of work
Determine key variables for cost and other estimates
Complete proposals including bid documents, determine the project’s scope and evaluate special conditions affecting the proposal (including site conditions, access, personnel, and equipment needs)
Review and clarify proposals and negotiate projects
Prepare estimates based on time, labor requirements, equipment costs, and specifications
Create and submit estimate reports or bids to appropriate persons (project managers, clients, bidding competitions, etc.)
Obtain and track offers and quotes by subcontractors or vendors
Prepare preliminary schedules for all successfully awarded projects
Manage multiple projects estimates simultaneously
Contact current and potential customers in a sales capacity
Involved in peer mentoring and on-the-job training
Other duties and/or special projects as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION
High School Diploma or GED required
2 or 4-year college degree in Construction Management or Engineering preferred
Minimum of 1-year construction industry experience preferred
Organized with an intense focus on accuracy and attention to detail

JOB SUMMARY
The Director of Finance M&A Integrations is a critical Finance leadership role that will interface across various teams and senior levels of the Company, as well as the external auditors. Embedded within the Controllership as a proven accounting operations leader, this position is accountable for the end-to-end processes impacting Finance surrounding the Company’s mergers and acquisitions, beginning with financial due diligence, and ending with the integration of acquirees into AWP’s financial processes. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Support the Corporate Development team by driving the analysis and financial due diligence processes to measure the performance of proposed acquisitions and/or business opportunities
Conduct interviews with the target’s Finance and management team, work with third parties during due diligence and serve as a key contact through integration
Prepare and deliver timely and accurate financial schedules including, Flow of Funds memos, estimate, and closing Net Working Capital schedules, Synergy, pro forma financial statements, and other ad hoc materials as needed
Manage cash disbursements and escrow arrangements for closing and post-closing periods
Assess significant accounting practices, closing procedures, and systems implementation of target companies. Implement post-closing controls, and support FP&A team members through complete financial integration
Provide technical accounting and pro forma presentation advice around deal structure and terms, and provide technical expertise, particularly with regard to ASC 805 Facilitate audit requests from external auditors supporting purchase accounting and provide support for any external reporting requirements of the transaction. Work effectively with external third parties (e.g., lawyers, accountants, consultants, etc.)
Act as a liaison between the acquired entity personnel, the regional controllers, external valuation experts, and the external audit team

Assist with portions of the annual goodwill and other intangible asset impairment test, quarterly trigger analysis, and transitions tests
Assess and improve Finance’s M&A Integration approach, partnering with leaders across the organization to drive execution and efficiency. Develop repeatable processes that accelerate Finance integrations and ensure timely communication of events

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
Minimum 9+ years experience in operational accounting roles (prior experience in public accounting is a plus)
CPA with a diverse accounting background
Extensive exposure to M&A transactions and financial statement analysis, preferably with 1-3+ years of experience in a corporate M&A environment, investment banking, commercial lending, strategy consulting, or another financial/investment institution
Strong technical accounting background, particularly with regard to ASC 805. Exposure to integrated financial modeling and valuation (e.g., comparable company trading and transaction valuation, DCF, LBO, etc.). Superior Excel skills are a plus

POSITION SUMMARY
The Payroll Specialist role is responsible for supporting all departments within the organization and distributing data to achieve department and organizational goals. Set up and maintain garnishment set-up tables in UKG
Investigate and resolve any garnishment-related issues for agencies and employees
Work with payroll to execute timely entering of garnishments, bankruptcies, creditor garnishments, child supports, state tax liens, and IRS levies for payroll processing
Manage payroll process daily and perform accounting-related tasks 
Compile payroll data such as garnishments, vacation time, and insurance for Union locations 
Utilize (E-time software) and review information for compliance 
Communicate with department supervisors on any discrepancies and make corrections 
Ensures compliance with all applicable state and federal wage and hour laws 
Analyze, prepare, and input payroll data
Prepares weekly, monthly, quarterly, and year-end reports (gross payroll, hours worked, vacation accrual, tax deductions, benefit deductions, etc.) for management
