Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Corporate Recruiter to identify internal corporate office and management roles for AWP. It is the responsibility of the Corporate Recruiter to create a positive candidate experience at all times and act as a Talent Advisor to hiring managers throughout the recruiting process.

Summary of Responsibilities:

  • Create a positive candidate experience at all times
  • Develop and post job descriptions
  • Promote the company's reputation and attractiveness as a good employment opportunity
  • Strategically sourcing passive candidates through our ATS, LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards and social media
  • Schedule and attend in-take meetings with hiring managers
  • Screening candidates for basic skills and providing a summary with the resume
  • Coordinate hiring manager/candidate phone interviews through Outlook
  • Conduct follow up meetings with new hires to discuss their onboarding and training experience
  • Act as a Talent Advisor to hiring managers and candidates
  • The incumbent must learn and maintain knowledge of employment law and legislation.
  • A successful Recruiter has excellent interpersonal skills, is organized, detail-oriented, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field, or 5 years in multi-level recruiting
  • Experience with recruitment processes and sourcing passive candidates.
  • The ability to design and implement recruiting strategies
  • Must be comfortable working with all levels of leadership
  • Good decision-making skills.
  • Working knowledge of employment law and legislation.
