The Traffic Plan Designer will be assigned various projects designing temporary traffic control plans. This includes analyzing traffic flow and volume, reviewing appropriate standards, and using computer-aided design software.
· Review client-provided documents to develop traffic control plans
· Comprehension of applicable municipal, state, and federal codes to ensure compliance- training will be provided
· Uses computer-assisted design software to prepare engineering and design documents for permitting and other uses- training will be provided
· Communicate with clients, local agencies, peers, and project team members on the status of the traffic control plan
· Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
