AWP ACQUIRES TRAFFIC SPECIALTIES, INC.

AWP, Inc., has acquired Traffic Specialties, Inc. (TSI), a traffic control company based in Stone Mountain, Georgia.

“We are very excited about the addition of this company,” said John Sypek, President and CEO of AWP. “We decided to acquire TSI for many strategic reasons. Most importantly, TSI, like AWP, is dedicated to safe, reliable service. The company’s strong service ethics are well known in that region. The addition of TSI will greatly complement AWP. With two AWP offices already in Georgia, our ability to serve new and existing clients is greatly enhanced.”

AWP plans to retain all TSI’s employees and anticipates sustainable growth well into the future. Customers of both companies will begin seeing the advantages of the acquisition in the coming weeks and months, and the integration of TSI’s excellent workforce into the AWP family will prove to be a benefit for all involved.
