As the demand for safe, reliable traffic control continues to rise, Area Wide Protective expands its supply to utilities, heavy highway construction, contractors, and more.

AWP is pleased to announce the grand opening of its newest office in South Carolina. AWP’s traffic control equipment and full range of services are now available to the city of Columbia and surrounding communities. Our newest location at 1200 Veterans Road allows us to deepen our partnership with current customers as they continue to grow, while also serving new customers in the region.

AWP Embraces Opportunities

We are an expanding company with local ties. AWP has been performing work in the Columbia area and recognized the vast and complex infrastructure in South Carolina’s state capital. The growth of the city creates a great need for safe, reliable traffic control services. These factors encouraged AWP to put roots down in the city, and we are now readily available for short and long term projects. Our equipment inventory includes various types of barricade, barrels, traffic cones, attenuators, signage, arrow and message boards, and more. Our Protector (flagger) crews have successfully completed the required training and certification, allowing us to accommodate round-the-clock scheduling needs and short-notice changes when necessary.

AWP looks forward to serving current and new customers in the Columbia area. We will continue to focus on protecting people, business and time as we serve client needs and deliver safety to the public.
