AWP Supports Greeley Stampede’s 100th Anniversary

On July 4, AWP’s team in Greeley, CO wrapped up its 25th year serving, sponsoring, and attending the Greeley Stampede. The event, spanning over 12 days, draws more than 250,000 people from around the world.

As one of the largest events AWP protects in this area, planning for the Greeley Stampede begins months in advance with no detail spared. This year, AWP donated its setup services and use of nearly 1,500 pieces of equipment, including cones, message boards, and more than 100 custom event signs. Not only does the team help keep the event running smoothly and safely, but it also invests in event tickets to host customers and support the community.

“AWP is a vital part of the Greeley Stampede and helps us get more than 250,000 guests into the park safely and efficiently. The team is great to collaborate with and continues to improve each year. We really appreciate their support for the community, and Greeley stands behind those who support the local economy.”
– Justin Watada, General Manager, Greeley Stampede

More than 70 customers joined AWP’s leaders and support team in the stands for the rodeos, concerts, derbies and more, celebrating the history and spirit of Colorado. The AWP team was delighted to be able to share the experience with its parters, whether it was an annual summer event the customer typically looks forward to, or a fun new experience for a newly committed partner.

A local Project Manager and his family joined AWP this year, saying “It was a first-time experience for all of us. I look forward to working together with the team again soon.”

The long standing partnership between AWP and the Greeley Stampede is one built on a shared sense of community. “Investing in our local community for the past 25 years helps solidify us as a trusted provider,” says Stevie Moran, Assistant Manager, Greeley. “The people who run and attend the Greeley Stampede have great reputations throughout the state.”
