AWP Brings a Safety Perspective to NUCA

Team AWP, December 6, 2018

Florida’s AWP area manager, Bobby Fowler, recently joined the National Utility Contractors Association Board (NUCA). NUCA, the leading trade association, commits to improving operational efficiency and financial performance for utility construction and excavation industry in the United States. NUCA asked Fowler to join the board due to his AWP position which has equipped him with a wealth of knowledge and experience in the transportation and safety industry. Fowler will provide a fresh perspective by implementing AWP safety culture within legislative decisions. He looks forward to using his expertise in the NUCA Safety Group as they prepare for 2019’s new laws and regulations.

NUCA Door of Opportunities

Fowler proclaims this is a great opportunity to network and introduce NUCA members to AWP. As a result of the new AWP partnership, we are broadening our scope of work to serve clients from different underground utility industries. Additionally, we look forward to meeting members and gaining a better understanding of laws and concerns to better serve our customers and meet their safety and transportation needs. Fowler explains that this opportunity of membership gives AWP the edge to maintain and practice the most up to date safety regulations and procedures set by the government and industry authorities.

AWP congratulates Fowler on his new NUCA membership. We believe Fowler will be the voice of safety and give input on decisions that will help protect this industry’s people, business and time across the nation.
